Registration for the 2025-2026 school year at Step Ahead Academy is now OPEN!

We offer classes for toddlers (2 years), preschoolers (3 years), and Pre-Kindergarten (4 years). Our school hours are from 7 AM-11:30AM with before/aftercare available!

We are a learn-through-play preschool. Each week, our classroom activities and centers follow a fun theme ("All About Me," "Five Senses," "Space," and "Ocean," etc.), and children are taught social emotional and academic skills through multi-sensory, interactive fun.

We would love for you to come take a tour and see all the wonderful things our school has to offer!

We are super excited to share that our 2024-2025 School Year registration is still open! Don’t delay, reach out today for more information! Step Ahead Academy offers small class sizes where children are given an abundance of one on one attention in an extremely nurturing environment.

School will open on 09 September 2024 and we would like to inform you that fees has been raised from k3000 to k5000 per month as per individual. Just to remind you that fees will be paid at the first day of the classes.

Remember every student will be encouraged to contribute to maize for porridge at the school.

Transport ni K10,000 ya mwana. Pala mupapi wanyamulenge mwana wake ni K15,000 pela.

Mukumanyiskika kuti transport izi mungafika nazo pa centre yithu kuti mulembeske.

Uku kuli mwawi wakukasambila vinandi. Mwakusazgilapo, mwana waliyose wakwenela kuwa na uniform pakuzaluta ulendo uwu.

Kasi mwana winu wangawerenga vilembo va alphabet, kulongola or panji wangaimba kanyimbo ka alphabet?

Pala zgolo ni yai mutumani kuno mwana winu tizagwirepo ntchito. Mwana wakukapanga makola chomene ku primary pala wayambila ku nazare.

Why are literacy and math leaning the primary goals and standards for early childhood education in Malawi?

Because we have come to see "preschool" as pre-school: the time to prepare young children for the grind they will be trapped in for their next twelve years years.

What if, instead, we saw it as "post birth," the culmination of their first five years?

We are so focused on preparation them for what's next rather than on mastering and celebrating what they've already accomplished
