ARRIVAL DAY REMINDER – FORM 2, 3 & 4 CONTINUING STUDENTS

Dear Form 2, 3 & 4 Continuing Students, as you prepare to report to school tomorrow, please remember to pack ONLY what is needed and strictly follow the items checklist.

1. 2 pairs of school shoes
2. Dark blue tracksuit & sports shoes – MUST
3. Only 5 blouses, skirts and/or dresses
4. Plate, tea cup, teaspoons, tablespoons, fork, table knife & plastic pail
5. Food from home: sugar, salt, roasted maize, groundnuts, popcorn, biscuits, milk, Sobo, peanut butter & Milo.

STRICTLY PROHIBITED: Flash disk, cellphone, Manyong’o, Jiggies, trousers (except the tracksuit), perfume, bangles, lipstick, matches and earrings. Only a hand rosary is allowed.

Pack light. Pack right. Pack only what you need!

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS WERE CLOSED FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

St. John Girls’ Secondary School wishes to inform all prospective students, parents, guardians and members of the general public that admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session were officially CLOSED.

The admission process concluded on 15th August 2026 following the completion of the scheduled entrance examinations and selection process.

We sincerely thank everyone who expressed interest in becoming part of the St. John Girls’ Secondary School community. The overwhelming response we received is a great reflection of the trust parents and guardians continue to place in our commitment to providing Integral Education for Girls.

The next admission cycle for the 2027/2028 academic session is expected to open in June 2027.

ST. JOHN GIRLS’ SECONDARY SCHOOL RECORDS ANOTHER 100% MSCE PASS RATE!

St. John Girls’ Secondary School is delighted to announce yet another outstanding academic achievement following the release of the 2026 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination results by the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) today.

We are immensely proud to announce that all 57 candidates who sat for the 2026 MSCE examinations have successfully passed, giving the school an impressive 100% pass rate.

This remarkable achievement continues a proud tradition at St. John Girls’ Secondary School, a tradition built on the conviction that we do not leave a soldier behind.

Behind these results are countless hours of classroom learning, revision, consultations, assessments, examinations, mentorship, discipline and personal sacrifice. Each of our 57 candidates faced the challenges of secondary education with determination, resilience and courage.
