First Steps Nursery & Pre School

Last week we at First Steps Nursery & An-Noor Academy hosted a charity day function. 😍

We welcomed the children from Rawdhatul Yatamah.

As part of our curriculum we try to teach and inculcate the value of giving to those in need and to treat everyone with kindness and respect.🌹🌹

Last week we at First Steps Nursery & An-Noor Academy hosted a charity day function. 😍

We visited the children from Rawdhatul Yatamah.

As part of our curriculum we try to teach and inculcate the value of giving to those in need and to treat everyone with kindness and respect.🌹🌹

This year we celebrated International Day in an exclusive way!

After writing all the countries on pieces of paper each class teacher were blindfolded and was given a chance to pick a country that they would represent on International Day.
The teachers together with children did research and collected information and items on the countries to display and represent on International Day. They made beautiful displays and crafts including 3D projects to display and give our spectators a feel of the country they represented.

With the help of parents, they made food related to the country that their children represented. 😍

This event was fantastic! 😀😀

We want to thank all the children, teachers and parents for participating and supporting the school in this event.

Last week was so much fun!
We learned about all the different foods around the world, the children told us about their favourite different cultural foods.
Adab of the week was Appreciating our blessings.

We all had so much fun making our own waffles!

We look forward to this week's fun topic all about Shopping! 😍😁

This week we all learned about healthy living and healthy eating, we spoke about various vegetables and their benefits.🌽🥕🍆🥔🍄
Adab of the week we learnt about the various ways of being compassionate towards our families, teachers and friends.

The children also made a lovely vegetable craft.

Our second week was a very fruitastic one!

We learned all about the different types of fruits that we all love!
Adab of the week was respecting our environment.

Each day we were learning all the fruit benefits, nutrients and fun facts and we had lots of fun creating our own fruit baskets for our weekly craft! 😁
