What if Gideon was a Pathfinder?

He would still be the one hiding, doubting, questioning… and still be the one God called.

Not because he felt fearless.
Not because he looked strongest.
But because he chose to go on God’s errand and keep a level eye.

Gideon reminds us that courage is not the absence of fear.
It is trusting God enough to obey anyway.

When God says go, Pathfinders move.
When God reduces the crowd, Pathfinders trust.
When the night is dark, Pathfinders still stand.

Trusting God beyond fear.
That is Gideon faith.
That is Pathfinder strong.

On February 22, 2026, the Area 41 Adventist Youth (A.Y) Department special visit to their fellow member, Esther Mahata, who is currently unwell and recuperating at her home with asthma in Kauma, Durban. The visit was led by Moses Nyson, who encouraged the group to support their sister Esther Mahata in prayer. Eddah Mafunga opened the visit with a heartfelt prayer, while Joshua Phiri delivered a powerful message from Hebrews 4:16, reminding sister Esther Mahata of God's promise of mercy and grace in times of need. They also sang a song from Christ in Song, number 115, which talks about Jesus as a great physician. The visit concluded with a closing prayer by Alinafe Perani. The group was grateful for the opportunity to support their sister Esther Mahata and prayed for her speedy recovery. Isaiah 40:31 says, 'But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.' This scripture encourages people who trust in God to get new strength from the provider himself, whose name is God.
