Applications Now Open: Youth in Leadership Innovation Challenge

UNDP Malawi, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, is inviting District Councils across Malawi to participate in the Youth in Leadership Innovation Challenge, a national initiative that empowers young people to develop innovative solutions to local development challenges.

Selected youth teams will receive training, mentorship, and the opportunity to access up to US$20,000 to implement winning projects. The challenge focuses on:

✅ Citizen-Centred Service Delivery
✅ Youth Participation & Accountability

District Councils are encouraged to identify and mentor teams of 5–8 young people to develop practical, high-impact solutions for their communities.
