𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 facilitated a team building activity with 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗶 members. 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 Managing Director Dr Ishmael Nyirenda facilitated the team building, he led games that aimed at sparking teamwork and discussions, opening doors to better communication and growth. This was a great reminder that learning and networking can be fun, and connection is powerful.

𝐄-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐰𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐋𝐔𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐑).

As part of its ongoing series of pedagogical workshops for universities, 𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 held another successful two-day E-Learning Pedagogical Workshop at the 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐰𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐋𝐔𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐑) from 26th to 27th May 2025. The event took place at Pamudzi and followed closely on the heels of a similar workshop delivered earlier in the month at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐢 (𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐀).

Building on the momentum from the UNIMA session, the LUANAR workshop was designed to strengthen the capacity of university lecturers engaged in online teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The focus was on enhancing digital pedagogy by promoting innovative, student-centered, and interactive approaches to online education.

The workshop was led by Dr. Ishmael Nyirenda, Managing Director of 𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 and the Lead Trainer. Renowned for his practical and engaging facilitation style, Dr. Nyirenda guided LUANAR lecturers through hands-on activities, insightful discussions, and effective strategies for planning and designing interactive online lessons.

✅ Utilizing Open Educational Resources (OERs) to complement online teaching and learning.

By replicating the successful structure of the UNIMA workshop, this session ensured consistency in training across institutions while tailoring delivery to the unique experiences of LUANAR lecturers. Participants left the workshop with practical tools, fresh ideas, and renewed confidence in their ability to deliver engaging online learning.

This is yet another initiative that shows 𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥's commitment to building digital teaching capacity in higher education. With each workshop, we make sure that more lecturers are being equipped to navigate and thrive in the evolving landscape of e-learning.

On May 15–16, 2025, we successfully conducted a two-day 𝐄-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐢 (𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐀). The workshop was specifically designed for UNIMA lecturers involved in delivering online postgraduate and undergraduate courses and aimed to enhance their capacity in digital teaching methodologies.
