PSCLE and JCE 2024 results update

The top ten (10) performing education districts in descending order are: Zomba Urban, Phalombe, Likoma, Chitipa, Ntchisi, Zomba Rural, Mulanje, Karonga, Mzuzu City and Dedza.

The bottom ten (10) education districts, in ascending order are: Nsanje, Chikwawa, Lilongwe West, Mchinji, Neno, Lilongwe East, Dowa, Lilongwe City, Mzimba North and Nkhotakota.

The performance of Education Divisions in descending order is as follows: Shire Highlands, South East, North, Central East, South West, and Central West.

The top ten (10) schools based on proportion of As and Bs in descending order are: St Mauritius (Rumphi, 93.04%), Mtendere (Dedza, 91.15%), Ludzi Girls (Mchinji,91.00%), Lilongwe Girls (Lilongwe City, 87.78%), St Mary's (Zomba Urban, 84.18%), Karonga St Mary's Girls (Karonga, 83.56%), Lilongwe Islamic (Lilongwe West, 83.24%), St Kizito Seminary (Dedza,81.85%), Bakhita (Pvt) (Balaka, 81.38%) and Loyola Jesuit (Kasungu, 81.25%).

The Ministry of Education in conjunction with the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) has released the 2024; Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) and the Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examination results.

The press conference where the two institutions are releasing the results is currently underway at Bingu International Conference Center (BICC) in Lilongwe, where Minister of Education, Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima is presiding.

The first term of the 2024/2025 academic calendar is commencing on 16th September, 2024 while the third term will close on 25th July, 2025.
According to the Minister of Education, Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima the 2024 PSLCE and JCE exams were leakage free and they are being released in time . IsKey.
