QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Skilled in Business Communication or qualification related to Communication
Certificate in Computer Studies
Computer literate and proficiency in use of Microsoft and Mac packages and Internet
Familiarity with the use of office equipment like printer, scanner, extensions, etc
Capacity to understand, structure and manage the information-flow within the office
Must be able to speak fluently and clearly in English
Strong multitasking skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to type at least 30 words per minute
Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Answer incoming calls promptly and greet callers in a friendly, professional manner. Take messages and answer questions when possible.
Should have time to prepare to speak with clients. Use interoffice equipment to enhance communication and notifications.
Utilize office communication systems to perform telecommunications duties, including public address, telephone, two-way radio or switchboard.
Relay messages given to you verbally or in written form, including telephone messages and e-mail communications.
Arrange regular telephone calls to clients and management as requested.
Perform daily administrative tasks, appointments between clients and staff, accepting orders, receiving e-mails, and sending communications.
Update telephone directories, create schedules, create and proofread documents, and perform other data entry tasks as dictated by management.
Process packages and other incoming mail, and deliver outgoing mail and packages through e-mails.
