The University of Lilongwe has its origins in the passion and vision which the directors of Bambino Corporation have had towards education. The directors have been involved in education for more than 25 years. In this period, the corporation has been at the forefront in offering quality and meaningful education services to Malawi. Many students who have gone through the corporations various education structures have gone on to become influential individuals in various sectors of our economy and are now contributing to the transformation of the country. With this background, it was only natural that the next step, for the corporation, should be the opening of an institution of higher education which would take on the task of contributing to the offering of quality tertiary education. University of Lilongwe is a private University composed of several constituent schools and the following are our Vision, Mission, Core Values and Objectives. Our Vision

3. University of Lilongwe Constituent Schools
University of Lilongwe, is initially composed of three schools and one Centre: The School of Management, School of Law, Governance and Policy, School of Education and the Centre for Continuing Education
The School of Management will focus on professional programs: Business, Entrepreneurship and Management
The School of Law, Governance and Policy will focus on Governance, Law and other Social Sciences. The School of Education will focus on Education. The Centre for Continuing Education will be the home of professional courses, and programs in transition among others. Its curriculum will be integrative, interdisciplinary, and holistic; with a pedagogy that provides for adult interactive learning and formal learning from undergraduate level in keeping with the Life-long Learning model
By 2018 the University will have additional schools. The University has a President (Chancellor) and a will engage a Vice President of Academic Affairs. Each school has its own Dean, whose responsibility is the development, implementation, administration, and management of the programs.
