We at HfL appreciate the work and sacrifice teachers make everyday.

We are growing! Whoop whoop!

From supporting secondary school learners only, we are taking the dare by taking on the only learner to make it to public university from Kapiri secondary school.

Fred, will be joining LUANAR next month, and we can't be excited enough!

But, we are also anxious though hopeful that we will sustain the flame for Fred, so through him, we can brighten the future of his family and those around him.

You and I know that university education is no short order in Malawi, both monetary and otherwise.
Thus, could you help us take Fred through uni? Donate a book, bag, stationary, clothes, your time to counsel/mentor him, part time work during his holidays,...and anything that would make his school days a little more bearable.

We would love to hear from you. Let's touch the future together.

Sorry for the silence

It has been a long while we posted here, excuse our silence. We are not out of service, but have been working on the ground.
To the new followers, thank you. To the old timers, thank for staying with us.

Let's work together to bring a little bit of hope, one learner after another. Join our adventure.

We are and we can't wait to share with you amazing news for the new academic year!

July-September is end of academic year holiday period for both primary and secondary schools. It's also transitioning period to a higher classes.

Our hope is that while the kids are on recess, they are able to rest well with no worries of where the fees for the next term/academic year come September will come from.

Would you help us ease of the burden of accessing education, which is the very basic of needs, to our kids at Kapiri Secondary school in Dedza?

Tomorrow, 21st June 2018, the Malawi School Certificate of Examinations for the year will begin. We can't but be excited and anxious for our CDSS students, especially for (right) who is one of the candidates. We are proud of and his achievements, and are happy that we can be a part of his journey. Help us wish him excellence and brilliance!

Friday, 15th June 2018, we headed to CDSS to join in on the graduation ceremony for this year's cohort.
As they prepare for exams, we wish nothing but the very best to our learners.

...so some of these kids are about to take leave of Kapiri CDSS. Yes, after they sit for the MSCE exams, we hope they have a fruitful life afterwards.
Here at HfL we are wishing all MSCE candidate all over in MALWI the best in the exams, meanwhile lets see if we can give the Form Four class at Kapiri a great sendoff graduation ceremony!!
