On Friday 12th June our Year 7 students enjoyed an educational art trip to Kaliso Art Gallery. The purpose of the trip was to provide our students with an opportunity to further develop and practice the artisitic skills that they have acquired during their art lessons at school. Would would like to thank Kaliso Art Gallery Management for the wonderful opportunity given to our Year 7 students! Year 3 Visit to Lynod and Eunice Leisure Farm on Friday 12th June 2026

Tucked away along a dusty road in rural Bunda lies a hidden gem: Lynod and Eunice Leisure Farm.

Our adventure began with an enthusiastic bus ride filled with singing, laughter, and excited chatter as students eagerly anticipated the day ahead.

Upon arrival, learners were introduced to the beautiful surroundings of the farm, including its ponds, dams, and fish breeding facilities.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to learn about local agriculture, with students discovering more about cassava, banana, and sugar cane farming.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly feeding the fish. Each student and teacher was given a handful of pellets to feed the tilapia (chambo/chilapi), much to everyone's delight. Watching hundreds of fish gather at the water's edge created a memorable and exciting experience for all.

Students also enjoyed observing the boats moving across the water while taking in the peaceful surroundings.

The journey home was every bit as lively as the journey there. Students eagerly shared their favourite moments from the day, swapping stories and observations between songs, laughter, and enthusiastic cheers whenever one school bus managed to overtake the other.

It was a wonderful day of learning, exploration, and fun, creating memories that our Year 3 learners will carry with them for a long time to come.
