Some landmarks look so natural, so deeply rooted in a place, that it is hard to imagine they were ever built by human hands. 🪨✨

Today, the iconic stone feature at the entrance of Access High School stands as though it has always belonged there — timeless, grounded, almost ancient in its presence.

But these vintage images tell another story.

A story of lorries carrying enormous rocks.
Of many hands working together.
Of strength, patience, vision, and faith.

Before Access High School was fully established, men laboured carefully to position each massive stone by hand, creating what would become one of the school’s most recognisable features. Arranged in the shape of a cross and surrounded by flowers, the monument was designed as a lasting symbol of the Christian foundation upon which the school would stand. ✝️🌸

What now feels permanent once began as an act of belief.

And perhaps that is the beauty of legacy:
when people build with purpose, love, and faith, the result eventually feels as though it was always meant to be there.

Her Honour Madame Tadala Chihana presided over the Women of Valour event held at Umodzi Park. Female teachers from Access High School, Malawi and Access Christian Elementary School were privileged to attend this inspiring occasion.

In a heartfelt and unprompted gesture, our team presented the Guest of Honour with Access High School branded umbrellas — one for herself and one for the Second Vice President. This simple act reflected the values we uphold daily: gratitude, thoughtfulness, and kindness.
