Today Our Class 4 and 5 learners had an incredible educational trip to Kalipano Hotel in Dowa, where learning met adventure.

From exploring nature and understanding environmental conservation to experiencing water transport firsthand, our learners discovered that some of the best lessons happen beyond the classroom walls.

At METMMA, we believe education is not only about what learners read in books, but also about what they experience, explore, and remember.

‎On 3rd June, our Nursery Section enjoyed an exciting and memorable trip to Kukuye Amusement Park, where learning met fun in the most beautiful way.
‎
‎At Metmma Academy, we embrace the Montessori approach to education, which recognizes that children learn best through exploration, discovery, hands-on experiences, and interaction with their environment. Learning is not confined to the four walls of a classroom; it also happens through adventure, play, observation, and real-world experiences.

‎During the trip, our young learners had the opportunity to relax, socialize, explore new surroundings, and develop important life skills such as confidence, communication, teamwork, and creativity all while having fun.

Today, 21st May 2026, our Class 8 learners embarked on an insightful educational trip to CHALO Villa Farms where they were exposed to practical and innovative learning experiences beyond the classroom environment.

The learners explored various important areas including renewable energy, water filtration processes, crop production and sustainable farming practices — lessons that are highly relevant to the future development of our nation.

Speaking during the trip, the Head Boy described the experience as more than just preparation for examinations, saying the knowledge gained will help learners become innovative citizens capable of contributing meaningful solutions towards national development. He emphasized that young people must begin to appreciate practical and transformative ideas that can help move Malawi forward.

Class 8 teacher, Mr. Chavala, also encouraged the boys and girls to take the lessons seriously, reminding them that they are future leaders and problem-solvers for the nation.

At Metmma Academy, we remain committed to producing learners who are academically equipped, innovative and prepared to make a positive impact in society.
