VACANCY: HEAD TEACHER
Location: Chitipa District, Along the Lufita–Mubanga Road
NATU Private Secondary School is inviting applications from dynamic, committed and suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of:
HEAD TEACHER
Subject Specialisation: Physics
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing strong academic and administrative leadership for the school.
- Developing and implementing strategies that promote academic excellence and discipline.
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Monitoring teaching, learning and student performance.
- Teaching Physics effectively at secondary-school level.
- Preparing and implementing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments and examinations.
- Maintaining high standards of student discipline, conduct and welfare.
- Coordinating school activities and ensuring effective communication among staff, students and parents.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant education policies, regulations and school standards.
- Promoting a positive, safe and God-centred learning environment.
- Representing the school professionally and working closely with management, parents and other stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, preferably with Physics or a related combination.
- Be a qualified and registered teacher.
- Have substantial teaching experience at secondary-school level, with proven leadership or school management experience being an added advantage.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of curriculum implementation, assessment and educational administration.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, professionalism and commitment to Christian values.
- Be able to work effectively under pressure and lead a team towards achieving academic excellence.
