The colleges admissions are now pouring out, some by now know where they are going for their studies others are still in suspense: "am I going to be admitted into any of those colleges I applied to under NCHE?"
Lets say you are not picked, whats the next step (your next move)?

Perhaps you still in school, what shall be your next move when it comes to this stage? Its high time you start thinking about.

Dont be cheated, education is key to everything.

Next post will be about alternatives or options fir those who may not be admitted into any of the public universities.

Hie guys
It has been a while since we last posted some material on this forum, hope you will be excited to hear that we coming back in full force.

To begin with, it is hard these days to secure a place in any reputable university or college. This is the case because of stiff competition that exists amongst the candidates. It is an open secret that scoring high/excellent grades gives one an advantage to earning admission into any of the grades. So it is still our goal to help you attain those excellent grades deservingly. Your effort plus our effort, together we can achieve this.

However, what if despite all the hardwork, the excellent grades you still do not make it to any of the universities? Well it is because of that possibility that we also thought about engaging in discussions on career opportunities and guidance.

Am sure you will agree with me that most candidates who havent made it to uni jave wasted a great deal of time still trying to earn admission through the most popular ways of Entrance exams in some universities and NCHE in public universities. Most candidates set the public universities as their priority whilst the private universities come as a last resort.

The desire to enrol into a reputable university has left many candidates frustrated when they dont make it. One thing you need to know is that after secondary school there is what is called tertially education (higher education) not necessarily university education. Universities are just institutions that offer higher or tertially education just like techinical colleges and other higher education institutes.

So, when we are doing our secondary school lets open our minds to tertially education not narrow it down to university education. If we do this, we will be able to discover many opportunities to achieve our goals apart from the university path or discover other ways of attaining university education apart from the MSCE (with excellent grades) then NCHE path.

Thats all for today, lets keep in touch.
Have a great afternoon and please invite your friends to like this page.

many have wanted to pass exams but have gone into the exam room already having failed the exam. mental preparedness is a key to passing exams at every level of your studies. dont mark yourself off, some say, "if someone is going to fail then that will be me." No, dont write yourself off, dont doubt your own ability to ace the exam.
secondly, some people have failed exams not necessariry that they were not prepared, rather because they failed to plan their working right in the exam. the paper has 10 questions of which 3 earn more marks and are abit difficult (not impossible, mind you); what does this person do, he starts with the difficult questions. he takes a great deal of time on these, and they prove impossible to him/her. then when there remains less time, he goes for the simple questions, really? chances are very high that this person will fail. never let yourself pass an exam at the markers leniency or mercy
plan your working in the exam.
this other person manages to attempt all questions and has still some time before the end of the exam, and what does he/she do? sleep, really? this is your time to proof read your answers. have you written correct spellings? isnt there anything that needs additional information? have you written your answers in the correct order, does each response go with respective question? it happens sometimes to write an answer for question number 2 on number 1. the thing is, manage your time. remember that's the only time set for your to take that exam, you can sleep anytime but not this time. those things you may want to go out of the exam early for, will be there but not this exam.
apart from that, what you do before the exam also matters alot. you may say, the exam is in 5 weeks time, 10 weeks time but when these weeks are over this time will not be there anymore, so study like the exam is tomorrow, but remember also, "zikachulukitsa sizidyeka"

everybody wants to pass an exam, even those who havent prepared thoroughly. as school commences on monday, the form twos have only 5 weeks to start their exams and 10 weeks for the form fours. its not too late to give yourself thorough preparations for the national exams ahead. starting next week, every friday we will be discussing exam passing tips (skills you need to pass every exam). our discussion next week will try to answer the following questions, 1. why do people fail exams 2. what skills do you need to ace exams (pass easily or perfectly). in our discussions we will also look at examiner's reports for 2014/2015 national exams from maneb.
be there next week friday, april 15. (let no exam give you a headache)
