🩡 June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month πŸ’™

Mental health matters for everyone, including men. This month, let us encourage men to speak up, seek support, and prioritize their mental well-being. Strength is not just about enduring challenges ,it is also about asking for help when needed.

πŸ“Š Did you know?
β€’ More than 720,000 people die by su***de every year globally
β€’ Men account for about 70%–80% of global su***de deaths
β€’ Su***de is one of the leading causes of death among young men (15–29 years)

These figures highlight a serious global mental health concern that affects men disproportionately and reminds us why awareness and support are important.

πŸ’¬ It's okay not to be okay. You are not alone.

πŸ’Š PHARMACY DEPARTMENT REACHES ANOTHER MILESTONE πŸ’Š

πŸ“… 28th May 2026

It was a remarkable and memorable day for the Pharmacy Department at college as the department successfully conducted its inaugural Research Proposal Presentations for the outgoing Diploma in Pharmacy Upgrading June 2024 Intake.

The event showcased academic excellence, innovation, and professionalism as students presented a variety of insightful and impactful research topics aimed at improving healthcare and pharmaceutical service delivery. The presentations attracted faculty members from the Pharmacy, Nursing, and Public Health Departments, who came to support and appreciate the students’ hard work and dedication.

Among the many interesting topics presented were studies focusing on patient adherence, rational medicine use, and pharmaceutical care practices. One outstanding research proposal explored the need to integrate a basic sign language module into the pharmacy curriculum to improve communication between pharmacy personnel and deaf clients accessing medicines at dispensaries, retail pharmacies, and medicine stores.

The outgoing class began their academic journey at St. Joseph’s College of Health Sciences on 10th June 2024 and is expected to complete their final examinations on Friday, 29th May 2026, with the Pharmaceutical Services Management paper.

As a college community, we are proud of the resilience, growth, and academic achievements demonstrated by this group throughout their studies. You have made your mark, and your presence will truly be missed.

We wish you all the very best as you transition into the professional world to serve as competent middle-level managers and healthcare professionals in the pharmacy field.

πŸŽ“πŸ’Š Congratulations and best wishes to the Pharmacy Upgrading June 2024 Intake!
