🤖 EXPLORING THE FUTURE OF AI, JUSTICE, ART & DEVELOPMENT ⚖️🎨🌍

The BIU Law Society hosted an engaging and thought-provoking panel discussion on “The Significance of Artificial Intelligence to the Administration of Justice, Art and Development.”

Bringing together students from different departments, the discussion provided a platform for knowledge sharing, critical thinking and diverse perspectives on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in our society.

From the courtroom to the creative space and the development sector, students explored how AI is creating new opportunities while also raising important questions about ethics, responsibility, innovation and the future of different professions.

It was a valuable opportunity for students to learn from one another, challenge ideas and reflect on how emerging technologies are transforming the world around us.

At Blantyre International University, we believe that meaningful discussions and student-led initiatives are essential in preparing our students for a rapidly changing world. 🌍🎓

MISS BIU 2026 ROSE ELAAN MWANZA OUTLINES VISION TO EMPOWER STUDENTS AND STRENGTHEN CAMPUS VOICE

Blantyre, Malawi, The newly crowned Miss BIU 2026, Rose Elaan Mwanza, has outlined her vision to promote student empowerment, talent development and stronger student engagement at Blantyre International University.

In an exclusive interview with BIU Media House, Miss Mwanza shared her commitment to using her platform to address student concerns, encourage participation, and create opportunities for students to discover and develop their talents.

She encouraged first-year students to embrace university life, make friends, participate in activities and believe in their ability to succeed.

As part of her vision, Miss Mwanza plans to introduce a BIU Talent and Skills Development Initiative, aimed at helping students showcase and develop their abilities in areas such as music, acting, modelling, writing, and entrepreneurship.

She also emphasized the importance of strengthening communication between students and university management by creating platforms where students can freely share their concerns, ideas, and suggestions.

Reflecting on her journey, Miss Mwanza said BIU has helped her develop confidence, leadership, communication skills, and the courage to turn vision into reality. She concluded by encouraging unity within the university community, saying:

Show up, speak up and support each other. We’re building BIU together.
