Repost alert!! Kinda forgot to add the snaps to the last post πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜….. Whoops

The look on your face (πŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜’) when you're walking past a "gourmet" restaurant and they are charging K15,000 for 2 pizzas and you know that with that dosh, you can buy ingredients for 2 huge pizzas, 15 jumbo kebabs, 10 chicken wings AND 8 pancakes with that strawberry and citrus filling and sauce (hmmmmm... yum) and still get that 1gb weekly bundle... πŸ˜… πŸ˜…

Would I be wrong to say that with that sort pricing, some restaurants should change their names and be called "Not For The Locals Bar & Grill" instead πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚..

Anyways, when starting the lessons, Helena asked if she could learn how to make pizza because it was something she had longed to try and she was intimidated by it, so we made a deal..

The deal was that if she reached a level bwana was happy with at the end of the lessons (which she did), I would convince her to have a fun lesson of pizzas, kebabs, wings and pancakes so we could end with a bang!

So she did her thing, and while doing the lesson she even said "kodi ndizomwezi basi? πŸ˜•πŸ˜‘ konseko, kuwona ma pisza mutown mapangidwe ake ndiomweyo basi? Ooohhoo anthu akwathu ndi abwana anga akale andifila pa whassup pano!"

in my head I was like 😨😨 "ohhh my word!! I've created a cooking monster!! She's alive!! Alive I tell ya!! YessssπŸŽ†πŸŽ†" lol!! πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

Moral of the story is, save bucks, do it at home and stay winning!!

Here we have the case of Max. Though experienced and adept at the basics, the challenges he had were with how to enhance what he already knew, how to broaden his skills and how to use better combination of herbs & spices.

Through a series of lessons created together with the client, Max improved so much over the course of a 5 day training, that he began being more confident, especially with the new cooking techniques available in his arsenal.

The client wanted Max to learn starters/snacks, mains & desserts and he got on very well. At the end of it all, he got 15 experiential new recipes, dozens more in the cookbook, the Trust of bwana in the kitchen and equally as important, a sense of pride in his craft!!

With that said, the advice now is simple... "Keep calm & get cooking with Chi"

Meet Helena.. From Nanny to Chef de Cuisine! From asking "izi ndi chani?" when looking at herbs & spices, to asking "chef, do u want the herbs minced or chiffonade". Ok, she doesn't say chiffonade and she isn't a chef de Cuisine but you catch the drift.. πŸ˜… πŸ˜… πŸ˜…. She looks & feels confident in the kitchen and it resonates in her cooking!

To narrate her full transition would take up too much space, but you can trust that the woman smiling in the photos below, is doing so because her perception of her cooking went from self doubt or the "sindingakwanitse syndrome", to one with multiple options. Not just at work but personally as well!

So the deal here is simple really.. πŸ˜… πŸ˜… You can continue to have wandering eyes, forget whatever it is you learn elsewhere and hurt your pockets, deal 1; or, you can be like Helena and get Cooking with Chi, maximise your skills and options and save loads, deal 2.

Yooooh! 😨😨 To say "long time" would be a understatement eti πŸ˜… πŸ˜… πŸ˜….. Well, to be honest, it wasn't a planned absentia Γ  la Machiavelli. It's more about the fact that when The Most High has got different plans, who are we to do otherwise πŸ˜…?

Anyways, with that being said, we aren't just here to shout out πŸ“’πŸ“’ the good news of our return but to also offer you one of THE BEST value for money service out here in MW.

This service is non other than a cooking class. But just not any ordinary classes, but ones where you'll be "Cooking with Chi".. Pun intended πŸ”ͺ😎

In the next few posts we'll introduce you to a couple of our students as they do their thing in the" studio", and a bit about their cooking background. To be honest, more snaps could have been available if we only started taking pics earlier πŸ˜….
