We are thrilled to announce that three of our incredibly talented students have been shortlisted for The Cindy Neuschwander Award (12-16 Years Old Category) in the 2026 Young Mathematical Story Authors (YMSA) Competition from an incredible pool of 690 entries spanning 28 countries worldwide.
Shortlisted entries
*Aishath Naaya Nashid – 9S2 for her story 'What If It Wasn't Any of Them?’ using Trigonometry to solve a murder mystery.
*Aminath Azka Arham – 10S2 for her story *‘The Math that Saved the Island’ using Algebra to address the flooding issue in her island.
*Maakin Munnim Saeed – 9S4 for his story ‘Exponential Growth & Decay Inc.’* a fast-paced and humorous story with good cop Growth and bad cop Decay.
