Muhyiddin Scouts’ Murakudhin Project – Snorkeling Session with Save the Beach Maldives 🪸🌊

Today’s snorkeling session was particularly meaningful as it followed World Environment Day. Before heading into the water, Beybe shared valuable insights on why protecting our environment matters—not only for the world, but especially for us as a small island nation whose future is deeply connected to the health of our oceans and ecosystems.

At Muhyiddin, fostering environmentally conscious young adults is one of our key goals. Through experiences like these, our students learn to appreciate, respect, and care for the natural world around them.

Last Monday , we had the honour of welcoming members of the UNICEF Executive Board to Muhyiddin . We are sincerely grateful to UNICEF for choosing to visit our school and for giving us the opportunity to share our story firsthand and showcase the collaborative works we have undertaken together over the years.

During their visit, the Executive Board members had the opportunity to witness our Tech Path classes in action for primary students and observe our SEL/HAT sessions for secondary students, gaining a firsthand glimpse into the learning experiences and skills being nurtured across the school.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to UNICEF Maldives for their continued partnership and support. We look forward to strengthening this collaboration and creating even more meaningful opportunities for our students and staff in the future.

Yesterday, we celebrated the contributions of seven volunteers from our last Grade 10 batch. Over the past few months, they have generously dedicated their time and effort to supporting our school community, and we are truly grateful for their service.

Their willingness to give back reflects kindness, responsibility, and school spirit, making us incredibly proud of them. They have been wonderful role models for our younger students and a shining example of what it means to care for one’s community.

As they begin their A-Level journey next week, we extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes. May they continue to grow, succeed, and make a positive impact wherever they go.

Thank you for your dedication and kindness—we are proud of you all.
