The Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE), MNU, held a productive meeting with National College of Policing and Law Enforcement on Thursday, 2 July 2026, to explore opportunities for collaboration.

Discussions focused on enhancing digital learning, and developing joint initiatives that support knowledge sharing and capacity building. The collaboration also aims to promote community engagement and institutional growth. CETE looks forward to working closely with the Maldives Police Service to implement meaningful and impactful initiatives.

As part of their visit to The Maldives National University, students from Alifushi School visited the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE) e-Studio for an engaging knowledge-sharing session.

The students were introduced to the innovative work carried out at the e-Studio. We were delighted to welcome the students of Alifushi School and hope the visit inspired them to explore the exciting opportunities that educational technology offers. We wish them every success in their future academic and career journeys.

On 25th June, the Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE), MNU, conducted a Microsoft Teams Efficiency Workshop for the members of the Laamu Atoll Women’s Development Committee (WDC).

​The practical, activity-based session was facilitated by Aminath Zifna, Lead Instructional Designer at CETE, and attended by 5 committee members. The training focused on optimizing administrative workflows, managing collaborative documents, and utilizing Microsoft Copilot within Teams to improve communication and task automation for committee initiatives.

The Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE), MNU, conducted a Microsoft Teams Efficiency Workshop for the Laamu Atoll Council on 23rd June.
​Facilitated by CETE’s Lead Instructional Designer, Aminath Zifna, the 2-hour practical session was attended by 40 council staff members. The training covered digital workflow optimization, real-time file collaboration, and the application of Microsoft Copilot within Teams to enhance administrative efficiency and automate routine tasks.

"📚 Strengthening Administrative Skills Through Professional Development

The Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE) has successfully conducted a series of professional development training sessions for CETE staff from 7th June to 15th June, aimed at enhancing workplace efficiency, digital competencies, and administrative support capabilities.

The training provided staff with practical, hands-on experience in a range of digital tools, communication platforms, content management systems, branding practices, and technical support procedures that are essential for the effective delivery of CETE services. Through these sessions, participants strengthened their skills in managing digital workflows, supporting institutional communication, maintaining online platforms, and troubleshooting common technical issues.

These initiatives reflect CETE’s commitment to fostering continuous learning and professional growth among its staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the evolving needs of educational technology and administrative services across the university.
