Qualifier Round for the Lavazza Barista Challenge Maldives 2026 has officially concluded.

We were thrilled to witness the extraordinary skill, creativity, and dedication to coffee excellence displayed by all participating baristas.

Congratulations to the 10 exceptional competitors who have advanced to the National Finals, taking place at FHAM - Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives on September 9th.

We look forward to an incredible final showdown.

Lavazza Barista Challenge brings together the world’s top coffee talents, offering them a unique platform to showcase their innovation, technical skills, and deep dedication to the art of coffee. In this prestigious event, competitors push the boundaries of what coffee can be, crafting signature barista recipes that highlight their creativity and expertise.
This year, 17 exceptional talents from every corner of the world gathered in Turin to display their passion and skill.

Among them was Zain Sameer, the talented barista from Anantara Kihavah Maldives, who recently claimed first place at the FHAM Barista Challenge 2024.
