ރ. މާކުރަތު ކައުންސިލާއި ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ޤައުމީ ޔުނިވަރސިޓީގެ ފެކަލްޓީ އޮފް ޝަރީޢާ އެންޑް ލޯ ގުޅިގެން، އެ ރަށުގައި ދީނީ ހޭލުންތެރިކަން އިތުރުކުރުމުގެ ސިލްސިލާ ޕްރޮގްރާމްތަކެއް ކާމިޔާބުކަމާއެކު ބާއްވައިފިއެވެ. މި ޕްރޮގްރާމްތައް ކުރިއަށް ގެންގޮސްފައިވަނީ ނިމިދިޔަ އޮގަސްޓް މަހުގެ 27 އިން 29 އަށެވެ.މި ޕްރޮގްރާމްތަކަށް މާކުރަތުގެ ރައްޔިތުންގެ ފަރާތުން ބޮޑު ތަރުޙީބެއް ލިބިގެންދިޔައިރު، ގިނަ ޢަދަދެއްގެ ބަޔަކު ވަނީ މި ސެޝަންތަކުގައި ބައިވެރިވެފައެވެ. އަދި ހުރިހާ ޕްރޮގްރާމެއްގައިވެސް ބައިވެރިންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި އުފެދިފައިވާ ސުވާލުތަކަށް ޖަވާބު ދިނުމާއި، މަޝްވަރާ ކުރުމުގެ ފުރުޞަތު ފުޅާ ދާއިރާއެއްގައި ފަހިކޮށްދެވުނެވެ. މި ޕްރޮގްރާމްތަކުގައި މަޢުލޫމާތު ދެއްވައި، ސެޝަންތައް ކުރިއަށް ގެންގޮސްދެއްވީ ފެކަލްޓީ އޮފް ޝަރީޢާ އެންޑް ލޯގެ ޑީން، ޑރ. ޢަބްދުއްސައްތާރު ޢަބްދުއްރަޙްމާނެވެ.

Senior Lecturer Uza. Aminath Haifa wrote and presented a paper titled, "Access to Justice for Victims of Medical Negligence in the Maldives: Evaluating No-Fault Compensation through the Case of Shareefa Hanee v Ministry of Health" at ICIA 2026 Conference held at Islamic University of Maldives on 30th August 2026.

Faculty of Shari’ah and Law (FSL), in collaboration with the K. Dhiffushi Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC), successfully conducted the “Safe Community” Family and Community Programme in Dhiffushi from 20–22 August 2026.

The programme provided an opportunity to engage with the local community and school students on meaningful topics, including stronger family relationships, Fiqh of prayer, community wellbeing, the value of knowledge, and good character.

The sessions were led by Dean Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Rahman and Head of the Department of Islamic Studies, Sheikh Azmath Jameel.
