Day 6 of the Learning Beyond Walls (LBW) programme: Business Beyond

The day began with an exciting visit to the Mamee Factory in Melaka, where students gained insight into the noodle-making process and enjoyed the unique opportunity to create and customise their own cup noodles.

The group then explored the famous Jonker Street, experiencing its vibrant atmosphere, rich heritage, and local culture, before visiting the Portuguese Square, a landmark that reflects Melaka’s fascinating multicultural history.

The day concluded with a photo session at Malaysia’s iconic Petronas Twin Towers, providing the perfect ending for the day.

✈️ Learning Beyond Walls (LBW) 2026 – Science Encounters | Day 6

Day 6 was another exciting and educational experience as students visited the Melaka Flying Academy, where they gained valuable insights into the journey of becoming a pilot, the qualifications and training required, and the engineering behind aviation. Students also experienced flight simulators, giving them a firsthand look at the skills and technology involved in flying an aircraft.

The day continued with a visit to the historic city of Melaka, where students explored its rich cultural heritage and iconic landmarks, making it a perfect blend of education and history.

Day5 of Business Beyond started with the visit to Taylors University, one of the finest Universities in Malaysia. The students enjoyed the business idea pitch session where they presented their ideas.
Then students proceeded to the museum of the National Bank, where they get to explore about Malaysian currency evolvement and the Banking system.
The day was concluded with some shopping time in the famous Sunway Pyramid.

Day 4: Business Beyond

The group visited the renowned Faber-Castell factory, where they experienced firsthand how erasers and pens are produced. Students were also fascinated by the company’s impressive collection, including the world’s largest pencil, the world’s smallest pencil, the oldest pencil, and the world’s most expensive pencil.

The day concluded with a visit to the delightful Beryl’s Chocolate Factory. Students enjoyed learning about the chocolate-making process, watched the production in action, sampled a variety of delicious chocolates, and gained a deeper appreciation of the craftsmanship behind one of Malaysia’s favourite chocolate brands.

✈️ Learning Beyond Walls (LBW) 2026 – Science Encounters

Day 5 was another exciting and educational day for our students!

The day began at MAEPS Serdang, where students explored Laman Herbal Kelulut and discovered how stingless bee honey is naturally produced. They also enjoyed tasting a variety of herbal products and honey before heading to Laman Fertigasi for a delicious fresh melon-tasting experience. The morning concluded with a visit to G2G Animal Garden, where students observed the behaviour and characteristics of different animals.

The highlight of the day was the visit to the Department of Chemistry Malaysia (Jabatan Kimia Malaysia). Students gained valuable exposure to forensic science and learned about laboratory analyses involving drinking water, food and environmental safety, industrial and customs testing, quality management, and research services.

Another meaningful day of learning beyond the classroom, inspiring curiosity through real-world experiences!

🌏 Learning Beyond Walls (LBW) 2026 – Science Encounters

Day 4 began with a visit to the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, where students learned how pewter is made from an alloy of three metals. They then explored the beautiful French Village at Bukit Tinggi, followed by fun visits to a rabbit farm and a horse farm.

Another day filled with learning, exploration, and unforgettable experiences!

Day 4 of the Business Beyond group was filled with exciting and enriching experiences. The day began with a visit to the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, where students learned about the intricate manufacturing process and craftsmanship involved in producing world-renowned pewter products. This was followed by visits to several of Malaysia’s iconic landmarks, allowing students to appreciate the country’s rich history and cultural heritage.

The group then travelled to the paddy fields, where students gained firsthand insight into the rice cultivation process, from planting to harvesting. The day’s activities concluded with a magical evening in Kuala Selangor, where students witnessed the breathtaking spectacle of synchronised fireflies lighting up the mangrove trees. This peaceful and unforgettable experience provided the perfect ending to a day of learning, exploration, and cultural discovery.
