⚙️ Celebrating National Engineers’ Day 2026!
As part of National Engineers’ Day, Grade 8 and Grade 9 students of Maaungoodhoo School had the opportunity to visit the Maaungoodhoo FENAKA Power House.
During the visit, our students gained valuable knowledge about power generation, electrical systems, and the daily operations of the power house. The dedicated power house technicians kindly explained various aspects of the facility and gave the students an informative tour of the Control Room and Engine Room.
This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn beyond the classroom, explore the work of engineers and technicians, and gain a better understanding of how electricity is generated and supplied to our community. ⚡🔧
🙏 A special thank you to the Fenaka Maaungoodhoo Branch and all the power house technicians for warmly welcoming our students, sharing their valuable knowledge, and making this educational visit a meaningful and memorable experience.

🥦🍎 Food Pyramid Event at Our School! 🌾🥕

Our students from LKG to Grade 9 enthusiastically participated in a fun and educational Food Pyramid Event! 🌟

Through a variety of creative activities, our young learners explored the importance of healthy eating and balanced nutrition. From dressing up in colourful food pyramid-themed costumes 👗🍌, bringing real food items to create their own food pyramids 🥦🍞, and designing healthy food plates 🍽️, to creating informative food pyramid posters 🎨 and preparing healthy, balanced meals 🥗, every activity was filled with learning and creativity.

It was wonderful to see our students learning that healthy choices today build a healthier tomorrow! 💚🌱
