Just a reminder on a rainy/gloomy Friday:
As the first phase of easing lockdown starts, some of us might start to look back on how we spent our time during this lockdown. Some of these feelings might include the feeling unaccomplished, not completing a task you promised yourself that you will, treating yourself to some junk food rather than eating healthy and the list goes on. It’s important that you don’t put these kinds of pressure on yourself.
After all, there is NO perfect way to spend a lockdown. 🧡

It is being thankful and the readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
✨Benefits of gratitude:

✨Research shows that when children under the age of six receive things, they express gratitude only about 20% of the time. However, by the time children are around 10 years old, this number rises to about 80%
✨Activities to try with your kids
The more children practice gratitude, better they get at it and greater the benefits.
In fact, studies show that benefits can be seen after just 2 weeks of gratitude practice, and they can last up to 6 months! .
Here are some easy ways to practice gratitude with your children today:

Hi! I am the friendly ‘Worry Monster’. I like saving children from their worries. Just like grown ups, children have lots of worries- nightmares, worries about home and school. Sometimes they don’t like to talk about it.
Fortunately for children, there are Worry Eaters like me! I love eating worries and it’s my favourite meal! Yum yum 😋
When they meet me, I ask them to write their worries... and you guessed it! I gobble them down and then their worries slowly disappears.
