The Quality Assurance Department is conducting a three-day workshop on “Building the Capacity of School Reviewers” from 8–10 September 2026, aimed at strengthening the knowledge, skills and professional capacity of school reviewers.
The workshop is facilitated by consultants from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore, bringing international expertise and perspectives on effective school review and quality assurance practices.
Participants are mainly school reviewers from the Quality Assurance Department, with representatives also joining from the National Institute of Education, Department of Inclusive Education, Teacher Resource Centres and schools.
The workshop provides a platform for participants to deepen their understanding of school review processes, exchange experiences and good practices, and strengthen collaborative approaches to school quality improvement. Through interactive sessions and professional discussions, participants are being equipped with approaches and competencies to conduct effective school reviews and provide meaningful feedback to schools.
The programme is funded by the AEDP and the Thaiba Project, supporting continued efforts to strengthen the capacity of education professionals and enhance quality assurance practices across schools.
The workshop reflects the Quality Assurance Department’s commitment to strengthening school review practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in education.
