2️⃣ Ask curious, open-ended questions to get them to problem-solve 👇
“Why do you think that happened?”
“In sha Allah, next time what can you do differently to avoid this mistake?”
3️⃣ Ask reflective questions beforehand if you anticipate a problem 👇
“What do you think you can do to avoid __?”
“Have you thought about how you can prepare for this?”
A home (and relationship) where kids feel good to be human because mistakes are reframed as learning opportunities instead of a sign of low worth... is a safe place
