On the 3rd of April 2026, the Telugu Department organised a vibrant exhibition to mark the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, which was celebrated on the 19th of March. This year’s festival is known as Shri Paraabhava Naama Ugadi, symbolising a fresh chapter filled with hope, renewal, and positivity. ✨
The exhibition beautifully highlighted the richness of Telugu culture through traditional festive items such as Ugadi Pachadi, along with sweets like Ariselu, Palkailu, Pesalu and Atlu. Ugadi Pachadi, in particular, holds special significance as it is prepared using six distinct tastes: sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, salty, and tangy, each representing the different emotions of human life. It teaches the importance of accepting both joy and hardship with balance and grace, making it a powerful reflection of the essence of Ugadi.
In addition, students created colourful and informative posters that further enriched the exhibition, creatively showcasing themes of Ugadi, Telugu traditions and cultural values. Teachers and students visited the exhibition, appreciating the efforts and creativity displayed by the participants.
Through this exhibition, students demonstrated creativity, teamwork and a deep appreciation for cultural heritage, successfully bringing the spirit of Ugadi to life within the school community.🌸 ✨
