On the occasion of International Coastal Cleanup Day, some G10 students participated in a beach Cleanup activity at Flic En Flac beach.
Cans and pull tab, capsules, bottles and caps, crown caps, plastic confetti, takeaway boxes were among the many things they collected. We noted a high number of cigarette butt on almost every steps we took.
Mr Sheran from the NGO Similar Minds demonstrated on how to upcycle the plastic bottles. Some plants were also distributed to the students and teachers.
