What a beautiful Open Day we had at Step Ahead!

Our pupils proudly showcased their learning to our Step Ahead family and friends, as well as to many new visitors.

Our IPC units were beautifully displayed, giving everyone the opportunity to discover the different topics and projects explored across the whole school.

There were lots of exciting activities happening both indoors and outdoors, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Our Pre-Primary section has been having so much fun learning in their natural environment! 🌿🐞

This week was all about plants and the little creatures that share our environment with us. The children explored, observed, and discovered the wonders of nature around them.

They were also very lucky to have Mrs Wilcox read The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛📚 to them, and they were completely captivated as they listened attentively to the story. What a wonderful week of learning, imagination, and discovery!

Our Year 1 learners kicked off Term 2 with a joyful IPC Entry Point for their unit “Let’s Celebrate!” 🎉
The classroom was filled with excitement as the children explored the meaning of celebrations, why they are important, and how they bring people together. Throughout this unit, they will be learning about different celebrations around the world, traditions, and ways people express joy and appreciation.
To make the day even more special, our Year 1 class invited the Nursery children to join their celebration! It was a wonderful moment of sharing, laughter, and building connections across year groups. 💫

We had a truly wonderful World Book Day assembly!📚✨

Our students brought stories to life through storytelling, acting, and a genuine love for books. It was such a pleasure to see their creativity and confidence during their presentations.

Next time, our parents simply cannot miss such a special occasion so we’re excited to share that parents will definitely be invited to join us next year! 🎭💛

Good morning and happy Earth Day from our little stars 🌍✨

We feel so grateful to be surrounded by such a beautiful, green environment with fresh air, vibrant nature, and space to grow, explore, and appreciate the little things every day. 💚

Today is a gentle reminder to care for our planet, just as it takes care of us. 🌱

Our team spent two amazing days this week in first aid training, such a fun, engaging, and valuable experience! 🙌
