The School of Electronics was established in 1982 as an Electronic Technician's club so as to offer electronic as a hobby on a 'Do it Yourself' basis for electronic enthusiasts. To meet the needs of certain members, the Club eventually set up a training center to provide :
(a) training for the unemployed
(b) retraining and updating programme for those engaged in the field of Electrical, Electroni
c, Telecommunication and Computer Engineering
and also run examinations oriented courses.
