It means responding to the mission they were sent with and continuing the call they carried: calling to Tawheed, sincerity, and obedience to Allah upon knowledge.

We believe in the awliyaa’ of Allah and the karaamat established in the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah. However, many Sufi stories spread today exaggerate their status without proof. There is a clear difference between the understanding of the Companions (رضي الله عنهم) and Sufi claims. The awliyaa do not control the universe, do not know the unseen, and do not respond to calls—Allah alone controls all affairs.

Love, fear, and hope in Allaah are not mere claims or wishful thoughts. They are true states of the heart, built upon knowledge.

The more you learn about Allaah, the more his love increases, his fear becomes sincere, and his hope becomes sound.

The greatest way to achieve this is by studying the Names and Attributes of Allaah (Asmā’ wa Ṣifāt) and understanding their meanings and implications.
