Some of the most important things a child learns this year won't appear on a report card. ๐ŸŒŸ

Alongside reading, writing and numeracy, our learners at Brightfield Port Louis are building the skills that outlast any single lesson: asking better questions, listening to a classmate's idea before offering their own, trying again after a first attempt doesn't work, and explaining their thinking out loud so others can follow it.

Grade 2 has begun a journey across the planet without leaving the classroom. ๐ŸŒ
Our Entry Point for the IPC unit Earth. Our Home invited our young learners to look closely at the world they live in. They sorted animals, plants and materials, and traced the quiet connections between living things and the environments that sustain them. Their habitat collages set contrasting landscapes side by side, sharpening the skills of comparison and classification that sit at the heart of scientific thinking. ๐Ÿ”
Then came the role they wore proudest of all: Microhabitat Explorers magnifiers in hand, discovering that the smallest corners of our world hold entire communities of life. ๐ŸŒฑ

โ˜‘๏ธOur young learners from Grades 1 to 6 took to the stage at the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre for an inter-school Spelling Bee and they rose to every challenge, letter by letter.
