To mark the Exit Point of their IPC unit Homes and Houses, our young thinkers proudly presented their learning journey through a wonderful video showcase. Along the way, they explored homes from around the world, built impressive house models from recycled materials, and discovered what makes a home truly eco-friendly — connecting their learning to the values of sustainability and global citizenship. 🌱
Their creativity took centre stage in Art too, with vibrant pieces inspired by the striking geometric patterns of Zimbabwean Ndebele houses — a beautiful celebration of culture and design. 🎨 An interactive quiz rounded off the day, inviting visitors to test their knowledge and share in the fun.

​Our learners traveled through time to uncover the fascinating history of sugarcane in Mauritius. They saw their IPC class concepts come to life by exploring:

​To wrap up a perfect day, we headed to the coast! The afternoon was filled with laughter, teamwork, and sunshine as students:

​A beautiful blend of education, sustainability, and teamwork—creating meaningful memories that last a lifetime! ✨

Mind Tricks & Ocean Waves: Port Louis Campus Takes on Curious Corner! 🌊
​Yesterday, our Grade 1, 4, 5, and 6 students from the Port Louis Campus set off on an unforgettable adventure packed with laughter, discovery, and absolute amazement! 🚌✨
​Our young learners stepped into a world of wonder where reality got flipped upside down:
​👁️ Curious Corner Exploration: The students came face-to-face with fascinating 3D images and mind-bending optical illusions. They loved discovering the science of how our eyes can trick our brains, diving into interactive exhibits, and creating unforgettable memories together. 🧠✨
🏖️ Relaxing at Tamarin Beach: After expanding their minds, it was time to unwind! The group headed to the coast for a delicious lunch and a peaceful moment by the sea. Surrounded by the calming sound of the waves and beautiful scenery, it was the perfect, tranquil ending to a high-energy day.

Young Scientists in Action at Port Louis Campus! 🧪
​Our learners dove into Science Task 2 this week, turning the classroom into a hands-on laboratory! The children became materials experts as they put plastic, paper, metal, and fabric to the ultimate test.
​Through four rigorous experiments, our researchers explored:
​💪 Strength – Which material is the toughest?
​💧 Water Resistance – What stays dry and what gets soaked?
​🥨 Flexibility – Which materials can bend without breaking?
​🪟 Transparency – Can we see through it or is it opaque?
​It was a fantastic day of predicting, testing, and discovering the properties of the world around us! 🌟

​What a "hare-raising" start to the new term! Brightfield International School Port Louis kicked off Term 2 with a burst of color, laughter, and some seriously creative headwear.
