Halfway through the Leadership Challenge Programme... and already many valuable takeaways.
Meet Brigitte Hugnin, HR & Office Manager at Gaz Carbonique Ltรฉe, one of our participants:
โOver the past six months, one idea has stood out for me: leadership is about creating the right environment for people to succeed.
The programme has reinforced the importance of self-awareness, authenticity and communication, while giving me practical tools that I have been able to apply immediately in my role as an HR Manager.
One initiative I'm particularly proud of has been leading workshops on our company culture and values. Together, we invited colleagues to reflect on their own personal values before reconnecting them with our organisational values. These conversations reminded us that culture is not defined by policies or posters on the wall, but by the behaviours we choose every day.
Another valuable lesson has been recognising how much the HR profession continues to evolve. Today, HR is increasingly about people, purpose and creating meaningful workplaces. Even after many years in the profession, this programme has reminded me that learning never stops. Leadership is a journey of continuous growth, curiosity and reflection.
One final thought: I truly believe there is great value in having several managers from the same organisation attend programmes like this together.
Sharing a common leadership language makes it much easier to bring ideas back into the workplace and turn learning into collective action.
The journey continues... and I'm looking forward to discovering what the next six months will bring!โ
