We, Hamilton College Girls are delighted to share that our short film, *‘Deziem Sans’*, produced under the guidance of our Music-Vocal teacher, Mrs. Priya Pooja Bhootooa Issory, was selected to participate in the film competition organised by the Ombudsperson for Children and the Mauritius Film Development Corporation (MFDC).

We are especially proud to share that our Grade 10 student, *Marie Lara L'Etang Gabriella* was awarded Best Performer for her outstanding performance in the film.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all the members of the jury for their appreciation and recognition and to everyone who contributed support towards making this project possible.

We warmly invite you to watch and share the film with love as a gesture of encouragement for our students.

Une première participation couronnée de succès !

Lors de la compétition de slam sur le thème « La Drog », organisée par la JCI à la Municipalité de Rose-Hill, l’une de nos élèves du Hamilton College Girls a brillamment remporté la 3ᵉ place !

Cette réussite est le fruit d’une belle collaboration entre le Hamilton College Boys de Ville Noire, à travers M. Sameer Mamoojee, M. Arvind Maton et Mme Rufaydah Bussaruth, et Mme Daniella Eole du Hamilton College Girls.

Pour une toute première participation au college des filles au slam, nous ne pouvons qu’être extrêmement fiers de cette magnifique performance ! Bravo a Dafnée Noël

Winter School opens new pathways for Skills Development

Around 200 students attended ITET’s Winter School technology and practical skills courses, held from 20 July to 08 August 2026, with those who successfully completed the programme rewarded yesterday during a prize-giving ceremony in Beau Vallon.

The initiative underscores the importance of technical and vocational education in developing a skilled and adaptable workforce, with additional courses planned for the November and December summer holidays to provide more young people with access to practical, skills-based learning.
