The Northfields Beach cleanup 2026 was an incredible day of action, teamwork, and environmental awareness.
In collaboration with Ocean Spirit Diving Centre, our event brought together passionate community members and volunteers committed to protecting the environment and raising awareness about the dangers of plastic pollution and microplastics.
Thanks to the dedication and energy of everyone involved, we successfully removed the following:
1000+ cigarette butts
400+ metal caps
200+ plastic bottle caps
along with numerous other waste items collected across the Mont Choisy area.
Beyond the cleanup itself, the initiative also helped educate members of the public about how microplastics can infiltrate our food and water supplies, creating long-term risks for both marine ecosystems and human health.
Special congratulations to our prefect body, who rose to the challenge and coordinated the offsite activity with professionalism, leadership, and enthusiasm throughout the day.

We are very proud of our newly elected leadership team composed of 13 Prefects and 2 SRC Presidents. We had a a lovely ceremony to celebrate their recent appointments in our student-led assembly. We had 2 lovely speeches and were mesmerised by the lovely voice of Miss Ordina and Leanne. Thank you to Luvesh, Shubh, Yashmita and Paloma for their wonderful speeches on the day. We look forward to our new prefect body embracing our school values and supporting the community.

Our Year 13 students marked their final week of full school with a mix of celebration and reflection before heading off on study leave ahead of their exams.
From a fun dress-up day to signing shirts with messages of good luck, the week was full of memorable moments. In their Leavers Assembly, students shared memories spanning back to Year 7, recognised each other through student-voted awards, and thanked their teachers and form tutors - there were plenty of laughs and a few tears along the way.
The week ended with a whole school send-off, as students and staff lined the basketball court to wish them well.
Good luck to all our Year 13 students as they prepare for their final exams!
