Today, letโ€™s talk about wellbeing ๐Ÿค—. As there is a lot to say about the subject, I will list briefly 5 steps to mental wellbeing:
1. Connect with other people
2. Be physically active
3. Learn new skills
4. Give to others
5. Pay attention to the present moment (mindfulness)

My preferred step is the last one (5) ๐Ÿ˜‰: In fact paying more attention to the present moment can really improve your wellbeing.
This includes your thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญ and feelings, your body ๐Ÿ’ and the world around you. Some people call this awareness "mindfulness". can help you enjoy life more and understand yourself better. It can positively change the way you feel about life and how you approach challenges.

Tai chi and Qi Gong have introduced in my life calmness, simplicity and high concentration capacity.
And why don't you start your wellbeing journey by including a routine of or once a week?

Health Qi Gong - Pose of the Day ๐Ÿง˜
๐Ÿ‘‰ Sinking The Three Bodily Zones

The bending and stretching of the lower limbs combined with the pronunciation of the sound "HAI" help to raise and lower the Qi or internal energy in the chest and abdomen cavities. They also help the exchanges of fluids of the heart and kidneys, and their interaction. In addition, they enhance the strength of the waist, kidneys, abdomen and lower limbs, strengthen the Qi at the Dantian point (about two inches below the navel).

Key Points:
+ Relax the waist and tuck in the buttocks when squatting down, as if holding a heavy weight in the hands. When standing up, also imagine to be holding a huge weight.
++ Gradually increase the range of squatting. The range can be adjusted according to individual conditions. Young practitioners may assume a half or a compete squat.
+++ Keep the upper body straight. Avoid tilting forward or backward, when squatting down and straightening up.

This posture is part of the routine called Yi Jin Jing (Tendon-Muscle Strengthening Exercises).

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ Feeling Zen with the practice of Tai Chi ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ‘‰ Simple
The Zen way of looking at things seems most appropriate for Tai Chi; a martial art that conceals its power so skilfully. The internal martial arts are not ornate.
It is simple, direct, flowing and natural. Within the slow spirals, curves and gentle steps can be found a grace that is difficult to articulate.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Slow down
It is necessary to slow down in order to see what is happening in our lives, with our bodies, with our thoughts. Many of the Tai Chi exercises are performed slowly in order to increase awareness.
We learn to notice the hidden, the small, the subtle.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Quiet
When things are left alone, they settle of their own accord. People become silent, calm and still. Your body will do the same if you let it.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Repetition of forms
One facet of any Zen-related discipline is the repetition of a form or pattern; the accurate reproduction of a deliberate sequence of actions. The aim of this practice is to lose the sense of self.
No thinking, no worrying, planning or anxiety. Just being.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Spontaneity
Spontaneity is the ability to act without thinking. It is the raw immediacy of action. To be spontaneous, conscious thought must cease and you must simply do.
Both the mind and the body must be loose and flexible. Tai Chi teaches a person to move instantly in response to what is happening.
