A woman had a sick mom. After a lot of back-and-forth, she canceled her entire dayโ€™s schedule, hopped in the car, and drove hours to be with her. Her mom passed awayโ€”๐˜ด๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ด ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ. Had she not adjusted her priorities in that moment, sheโ€™d have regretted it forever.

๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ-๐—น๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ? Seems outdated. Weโ€™re talking about:

Every day I would like you to choose a โ€œ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†โ€ and do it.

1. Pick one thing a day that scares you, and do it.
2. It has to be something that requires you to โ€œget over a fearโ€.
3. Journal about it before and after. How did you feel before and after the dare?
4. Try not to miss a day.

๐Ÿ’ก๐˜š๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ช๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ด - but if they donโ€™t scare you, you canโ€™t use them !
1. Ask for the day off !
2. Ask for a discount on anything - make sure itโ€™s outrageous.
3. Ask for a raise.
4. Go up to a stranger and ask for something.
5. Give someone an outrageous compliment.

This week we are exploring ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ฎ.

For a good rest, itโ€™s important to signal to our body that we are transitioning from an active state, to a state of rest.

One way of switching on our parasympathetic nervous system is through restorative yoga.

The pose I would like to introduce to you is called โ€œ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ง๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญโ€ or โ€œ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ๐˜จ๐˜ด ๐˜ข๐˜จ๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด๐˜ต ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญโ€ pose. Please refer to the visual.

๐˜๐˜ฏ๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ด:
1. Choose comfortable clothes. You can be in your pyjamas for this one.
2. Find a wall.
3. Edge your bum-bum as close as you can to the wall. This could take a bit of shimmying. I find that sitting with your hip flush against the wall first could be a good way to get close to the wall.
4. Put your legs straight up against the wall. In this position you should feel completely comfortable. If you are experiencing any pain or discomfort, please come out of the pose slowly.
5. Your arms can be outstretched in a T position or you can put one hand on your heart and the other hand on your tummy.
6. Stay in this position for as long as you want, anything between 2m and 20m. If you experience any tingling or numbness itโ€™s your sign for coming out of the pose.

1. Please avoid jerky movements for elevating your legs and when you come out of the pose.
2. If you have any medical conditions such as hernia, hypertension or glaucoma, please avoid practicing this pose.
