🖐️ Developing Fine Motor Skills Through Creative Activities 🎨
💙 Activities such as cutting, colouring, painting, gluing and working with sand, play an important role in a child’s development.

🎨Through this creative activity, our children practised fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, concentration and precision while strengthening the small muscles in their hands and fingers, which are important skills that also support writing, drawing and everyday tasks.

✂️The children cut and coloured their sea creatures, painted their backgrounds, added sand and put everything together to create their beautiful under-the-sea artwork.

🌊Every step is an opportunity to learn and develop. ❤️

🌿 Connecting with Nature at Royal Kids Primary School🌱

Our Grade 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils had a fruitful visit from representatives of the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation! 💚

The children learned about Mauritius’ unique wildlife, endemic species and the importance of protecting our environment. 🇲🇺🌍

They also had the opportunity to take part in the planting of an endemic plant at our school. A way to turn learning into action! 🌱

A big thank you to the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation for this interesting, educational and enjoyable experience.
