An incredible achievement by our U14/15 Boys Volleyball Team, who claimed 1st Place at the National Championship! 🥇

Their hard work, determination, teamwork, and commitment throughout the season have paid off in the best possible way. Every player played a vital role in this success, showing resilience and passion on the court.

A special congratulations to our captain, Magan, who was named Best Player of the Tournament 🌟🏆. A well-deserved recognition of his leadership, skill, and dedication.

We are immensely proud of this team and all that they have accomplished. This victory is a testament to what can be achieved through teamwork, perseverance, and belief in one another.

Today our students were reminded that kindness doesn't have to be complicated. A few words of encouragement, a compliment, or a simple positive message can completely change someone's day.
As part of our Mental Health Month theme, Feel It, Don't Fake It, students shared kind notes, uplifting messages, and a little sweetness with one another.

Because sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impact. 💚

Volleyball Exchange with Mont Lubin College 🏐

We were delighted to host a volleyball exchange with Mont Lubin College. The event provided an excellent opportunity for students from both schools to come together, showcase their skills, and enjoy friendly competition in a positive and supportive environment.

Beyond the matches, students had the chance to build new friendships, demonstrate teamwork, and share their passion for volleyball. The exchange was a fantastic experience that highlighted sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration both on and off the court.

Thank you to Mont Lubin College for joining us. We look forward to many more sporting exchanges in the future!

🏆 Westcoast Wolf Roars at the Regional Athletics Championship 2026! 🐺💚💙

Held across three competition days (28 April, 30 April and 28 May), the Regional Athletics Championship once again showcased the talent, resilience and spirit of our student-athletes.

Our Wolves proudly represented WISS with passion, determination and outstanding teamwork, proving that success is about much more than medals and podium finishes.

WISS proudly hosted its very first Foot5 Female Staff Tournament on Saturday, 23rd of May under the WISS Staff Welfare initiative, bringing together teams from the Ministry of Housing and Land, Le Bocage, and Westcoast Primary School for a day filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive energy.

Our WISS ladies showed incredible dedication and commitment by training consistently after school in preparation for the tournament, and their hard work paid off as they proudly lifted the trophy!

Beyond the competition, this event highlighted the importance WISS places on staff wellbeing, collaboration, and creating opportunities for staff to connect through healthy and meaningful activities.

A huge congratulations to all participating teams and a special well done to our amazing WISS players for making history together!

Proud moments for the Westcoast WolfTeam at the JSA 2026 (Journées des Sports Athlétiques) held on 21–22 May at Côte d’Or Sports Complex 🇲🇺🔥

With 13 secondary schools from Mauritius and Reunion Island competing, our Wolves proudly fielded 6 mixed teams across Benjamin, Minime, Cadet and Junior categories in both Excellence & Établissement divisions.
