🌸✨ Happy Ugadi 2026 from Themis International Secondary School! ✨🌸
As we celebrate the dawn of a new year, may this auspicious occasion fill every heart with joy, positivity, and renewed purpose.
Ugadi reminds us that life is a beautiful blend of different experiences—just like the traditional Ugadi Pachadi—symbolizing happiness, challenges, growth, and success. May our students continue to learn, thrive, and shine in the year ahead.
Let this new beginning inspire us all to dream bigger, work harder, and achieve greater heights together as one school community.
🌿 Wishing all our students, parents, and staff a prosperous and joyful Ugadi! 🌿

✝️ Ash Wednesday & the Meaning of Lent ✝️
Today marks Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the 40-day season of Lent — a time of prayer, fasting, reflection, and penance in preparation for Easter, the most significant celebration in the Christian calendar.
The forty days of Lent reflect the time Jesus spent in the desert after His baptism, preparing for His public ministry. While the season spans more than forty calendar days, Sundays are not included in the count.
On Ash Wednesday, blessed ashes are placed on the foreheads of the faithful as a symbol of humility and repentance. The words spoken — “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return” — remind us of the importance of reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal.
At Themis International Secondary School, we recognise and respect the diverse traditions within our community and encourage reflection, compassion, and personal growth during this meaningful season.

No fountain but umbrellas and a sofa.
Any guesses what iconic image we were trying to recreate?
Big thank you to the Novaterra for the Beau Plan umbrellas — much appreciated by our Themis community! 💙
We are proud to be part of the Beau Plan family.
