πŸ„πŸŽ€ Year 4 – Interviewing a Farmer πŸŽ€πŸ„

As part of their learning experience, our students had the opportunity to interview a real farmer.

A day before the cheeselets activity, the children prepared a set of questions, such as:

How long do you work for?
What is your favourite part of your job?
What time do you wake up?

This activity helped students develop their communication skills while gaining a deeper understanding of a farmer’s daily life.

A meaningful experience linking real-life learning and our Let’s Talk Farming project! πŸ’š

Our Year 1 children explored the value of coins and how money is used in everyday life. During the introduction, they were given some money and learned the value of each coin. They then looked through shopping leaflets and discovered that different items have different prices.

During group work, the children matched pictures with prices to the correct amount of money, practicing their counting and problem-solving skills.

To make the experience even more exciting, the following day the children had the opportunity to buy an ice cream using their own money!

Well done to all the children for their great participation and enthusiasm!
