Common Concern of Humankind in International Law A page devoted to promoting the principle of Common Concern of Humankind in international law.

Judges as Guardians of Democracy is the theme of a keynote speech (followed by Q&A) that will be delivered by Judge Mattias Guyomar, President, European Court of Human Rights on Wednesday 22 October 2025 at 17:00 at the Casino Maltese.

The event is organised by the Malta Judiciary Association and the Casino Maltese.

Professor Patricia VF and Dr. Felicity Attard participated in the Maritime Platform at University of Malta's International Conference on Innovation in Marine & Maritime Sustainable Developments: Research and Applications. They co-chaired the conference panel on governance and presented their study entitled ‘Sustainability and Governance in Maritime Migration: The Role of Law, Knowledge, and Cooperation.’ Both would like to express their gratitude to UMP Chair, Prof. Adriana Vella for her excellent leadership and to the members of the Organising Committee.
