Something is coming to . 👀

Together with We Are Müesli we’re implementing GAME, an Erasmus+ project funded by EUPA Malta - Erasmus+ & European Solidarity Corps mapping the real lives of with a background in Malta. And we're just getting started.

In the coming months, we'll be launching the GAME Co-Creation Lab: a hands-on workshop where a small group of young people (18–30 years old) will come together to co-design the narrative content of a videogame 😱🤗🎮

The game “In Their Shoes. Malta” will be built around real stories, real places, real emotions.

Because the best narratives about migration are the ones told by the people who live them.

Want to be part of it? Start here 👇

If you are between 18 and 30 years old, fill in our survey, it takes about 10 minutes and it's your first step into the GAME 🤗

In collaboration we thrive!

Welcome to the team Luca Laselva!

Hi everyone! I am Luca Laselva, I am 21 years old, and I study at the SAA - School of Management, Università di Torino. I am currently in the second year of my bachelor’s degree in Information and Business Communication . I am a curious person who has always been interested in sports, music and nature. My professional interests include interpersonal relations, cultural diversity, development, and innovation.

I chose to do an internship at GMD because it was an opportunity it could not pass up. I have always wanted to put myself to the test in real operational contexts, and GMD projects are highly engaging and different from the usual academic path.

GMD stood out to me precisely because it offers a more meaningful context. I believe that GMD’s activities in and empowerment will contribute significantly to both my professional and personal growth.

One of the strongest wishes I have for the world is the end of unjust wars and violent conflicts that continue to affect innocent people. It deeply strikes me how, in many cases, the world seems to become increasingly insensitive toward human life, well-being, and respect among individuals.

More broadly, I wish for a world in which mutual understanding and respect between human beings are prioritized over division and dehumanization. Many global issues, including -related abuses, prison system inequalities, and against minorities, are often worsened by biases and lack of .

I believe that improving communication and fostering cultural understanding can help reduce these dynamics and prevent the dehumanization of individuals.
Although it is difficult to intervene directly on large-scale conflicts, I believe that through my experience with GMD I can contribute in a meaningful way. I hope to develop skills and awareness that allow me to better understand and address the issues above and the marginalization of vulnerable groups. Even indirectly, I want my work to contribute to improve human dignity.

Wrapping up an incredible experience with the programme “Train the Euromed Trainers” that we organized with the support of Anna Lindh Foundation !

Together with participants we explored cultural competences, exchanged perspectives, and developed our own intercultural projects aimed at creating a unique and positive impact across our communities.

The enthusiasm, participation, and collaboration throughout the course were truly inspiring. So grateful for the meaningful connections, powerful discussions, and the motivation shared by everyone involved.

A huge thank you to all participants for making this learning journey such a success: the future of intercultural cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean region is bright!

🌍 Big things are coming at GMD!

We just held our first team meeting for the Adaptive Learning Lab — our brand new Erasmus+ project, made possible thanks to the support of .malta We are truly grateful for this opportunity! 🙏

We’ve started planning our two mobilities to Lithuania 🇱🇹 — an intensive training journey on how to use Artificial Intelligence and digital tools to make our work even more inclusive, accessible, and engaging for all our learners.

Why does this matter so much to us? Because anyone working in education knows it well: you never stop updating, learning, and improving. And we want to bring that same spirit into every course, every workshop, every learning walk we run. 💡

Lithuania, here we come! ✨

Welcome to the team Nesrine Bourcheda!

Hello everyone! My name is Nesrine Bourcheda, and I am a 25-year-old Italian-Tunisian woman 🇹🇳🇮🇹

It took me many years to truly define myself this way, because growing up as a second-generation migrant often means searching for your own . Today, however, I proudly embrace both of my roots 🔗

At the same time, I believe my identity is not defined only by being and . I am also the result of the people I have met, the I have discovered, and the I have loved and made part of myself over time. Every encounter shapes who we are, and this is why I have never seen borders as lines that divide people, but rather as bridges that connect us.

I am a very energetic person with a strong passion for helping others. This inspires me to pursue a future connected to integration and inclusion, especially to support people who have experienced migration and who need to feel welcomed and understood.

Discovering and has been very meaningful to me because I believe it represents the opportunity to turn my values into action by building bridges between communities and helping break down stereotypes and prejudice.

My wish for the world is a society with less fear of differences and more curiosity toward others, where diversity is seen as something that enriches us rather than separates us 🫂🫂

Thank you .ricucci for connecting us!

🎮 Exciting news from the EUPA Malta - Erasmus+ & European Solidarity Corps GAME project!

Yesterday, GMD and We Are Müesli held their first design meeting for the GAME Co-Creation Lab — the workshop that will take place in Malta and bring together young people aged 18–30 with a migration background.

Together, they will have the chance to actively shape the storylines and narrative content of "In Their Shoes – Malta", an original video game that puts migrant voices and experiences at its core.
Stay tuned for more updates on this incredible initiative! 🌍✨
