Ever said something and realised you made a mistake? π³
English has a funny idiom for this experience. When you accidentally say something that upsets or embarrasses someone else, we call it βputting your foot in your mouthβ.
Here are some examples:
π Telling someone their job interview went badly when they havenβt heard back yet
π Mentioning a surprise party to the main guest
π£ Forgetting you met someone and reintroducing yourself
Ever put your foot in your mouth? Tell us about it in the comments. π

πΏ Stress is not only something we need to reduce. Sometimes, it is something we need to understand better.
As part of the Erasmus+ project Youth Connect EU-Ukraine (YOU), we invite you to the second online workshop in the Well-being Determinants series:
βFrom Discomfort to Well-being: Rethinking Stress and How to Work with Itβ
This workshop is designed for organisations working with young people from Ukraine. Together, we will look at stress from a different angle - not only as a pressure or obstacle, but as a signal that can help us better understand our work, our limits and our wellbeing.
Participants will explore practical ways to work with stress and support mental health in youth work and organisational settings.
The workshop will be led by Marek Botek, a specialist in Human Resources Management, with a focus on employee satisfaction and effective enterprise process management.
