The MA in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) is a programme of the University of Malta in collaboration with King’s College, University of London. On successful completion of this postgraduate programme students are awarded the MA in IMC from the University of Malta. The objective of the MA in Integrated Marketing Communication degree is to help participants understand the rapidly evolving
world of marketing and communications and to learn how various marketing and communications tools including social media can be combined effectively to meet an organisation’s marketing and communication needs. The programme is offered under the auspices of the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences of the University of Malta with the participation of a number of international academics in the field from King’s College, University of London. The experienced teaching faculty provide participants with an international perspective of communications and marketing. Course delivery starts with each new academic year in October. The course duration extends over twelve months to September of the following calendar year. It is divided into three semesters, with the first two semesters devoted to the taught component of the course while the final third semester is dedicated to independent student research. Applications are processed periodically and available places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The course general admission requirements are (i) a recognized bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area, at second class or better, (ii) certified English language proficiency, and (iii) letters of recommendation.
