Team Be Free retired last night 18 miles south of Pozzallo after having been hit with violent 66 knot winds. The storm moved in extremely fast in a matter of seconds jumping from a mere 10 knots to a force 12 storm damaging our sails forcing us to retire. Still it was a great day of sailing with a great start and a team perfectly in sync. Most important, all crew members are safe and sound and as always all smiles with Team BeFree. We'll be back. Now we take the supporters role rooting our fellow Maltese boats still in the race. Calypso, Otra Vez, Elusive II, Jan, Jarhead, Dimm, Janissah, Artie and Lazy Duck. Come on guys let's get some silverware home.
