Planned fine motor activities in early childhood education are much more than just keeping little hands busy. They directly lay the foundation for independence, writing readiness, and cognitive mapping. Fine motor skills involve the coordination of small muscle movements in the hands, fingers, and wrists, working in conjunction with visual feedback.

When our early childhood educators intentionally plan these activities, children gain targeted, sequential opportunities to build hand strength, dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

Our hearts are heavy as we pray for Logan and his father after their tragic passing last weekend. Logan was a cherished part of the Margerita Childcare family a few years ago, and his memory will always hold a special place with us. We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to their family as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
