World Environment Day. 🌱🌍
Newark students plant, test soil, study local ecology, and work on environmental projects through Erasmus+. The classroom walks outside more often than most people expect.
Today’s a good day to plant something with your child, anything from a herb pot to a tomato seedling. The school year teaches the rest. ♻️

Year 1 sets the tone for everything that follows. 📚
At Newark, the first year is built around small classes where every child is known by name from week one. Teachers learn how each child reads, draws, asks questions, settles. That picture stays with the school as the child moves up. 🏫
September 2026 places for Primary School are open now.
⚠️ Small class sizes mean spaces are strictly limited.

Our Year 3 classes had an exciting and hands-on visit from a representative of the Red Cross! Through fun demonstrations and activities, the children learned how to stay calm and help in an emergency situation. They discovered many important first aid skills suitable for their age and were amazed at how much they are already capable of doing. The students especially enjoyed practising emergency phrases like “Call 112!” and “Stand clear!” with lots of enthusiasm. It was a fantastic experience helping our young learners understand the importance of helping others and being prepared.

Newark School Malta opens its doors on Friday 5 June. The Open Day runs from 8.30am to 1.30pm at our Sliema campus.
We're a private English speaking school in Sliema with forty-five nationalities, small classes where every student is known by name, and an active Erasmus+ programme that takes Middle and Senior students across Europe.
The academic standards follow naturally: in 2025, our senior students took first place in the HSBC Economics of Life Hackathon, and our students regularly pass their O-Levels without private tuition.
On the day, Academic Heads will be on hand for one-to-one conversations. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-in visitors will also be welcomed.
September 2026 enrolment is open for Junior, Middle, and Senior School.
⚠️ Small class sizes mean spaces are strictly limited.
